This shotgun was imported by HK before Benelli had their import license. The Lower receiver is Heckler Koch mfg. and the upper/barrel and all internals are Benelli. There was only a few thousand of these shotguns brought into the US, and this serial number is listed in the first shipment of 800 shotguns imported. This shotgun was new in the box until 3 years ago when it was converted to a 3Gun shotgun. The recoil spring was changed to handle normal loads, the internals and bolt were TiN coated, the lifter was replaced by a TiN coated TTI lifter and the feed port was opened up and polished by a gunsmth. The barrel and upper receiver have been cerakoted black, the front sight has been changed to a HiViz, the wood has been coated and polished to a dark stain. There is a small crack in the base of the stock that was repaired by a gunsmith with Acraglass about 2 years ago after an incident with TSA, and is holding fine. This shotgun is used, and has been run at a professional level for the past few years. People stop to comment on it regularly when they see it at the range. Its a reliable head turner, and a laser with slugs through the 28" barrel. This gun is optimized for 1300fps 8-9 shot used in 3gun and also high velocity slugs. This is not a gimmick. If you need a reliable inertia gun for 3gun, look no further. This shotgun is ready to rock. It also comes with two TacCom quad load caddies, a chest strap for 24 shells, and a $400 custom shotgun case from The Wilderness Tactical Products. It has a MatchSaver installed, an extended follower, a Nordic components +9 tube (holds 13 shells), a TacCom slide release button, and custom Silicone Carbide grip treatment.
